1.Opt Out of Advertising

We run the Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API on this Site. These send Meta Platforms, Inc. information about what you viewed, added to cart, and purchased, so we can measure our advertising and show you relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram.

We do not sell your personal information for money. But under laws such as the California CCPA/CPRA, what we do is treated as "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising — and you have the right to stop it.

How to opt out

• Email us. Send "Opt out of advertising" to help@pawinjoy.com from the address you used to order. We will action it within 15 business days and confirm when it's done. This is free, and we will never treat you differently for asking.
• Block it in your browser. Disable third-party cookies, or use a browser or extension that blocks tracking. Some features — the cart in particular — may stop working if you block all cookies.
• Control it at Meta. Manage the ads Meta shows you, and the data Meta uses, at facebook.com/adpreferences and Meta's Activity off Meta settings.

Meta is currently our only advertising partner. If we add others, we will update this page.

2.What We Still Don't Do

• We don't sell your personal information for money. Not to data brokers, not to anyone.
• We don't send marketing you didn't ask for. Marketing emails only go to people who opted in.
• We don't use your pet's photo or name in our marketing without asking you first and getting your agreement.
• We don't give advertisers your pet's photo, your address, or your order details. What Meta receives is browsing and purchase activity — never the personalization details you email us.

3.Your Other Choices

Marketing emails

Unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of any email, or just email help@pawinjoy.com and ask us to stop. We'll action it within 10 business days. You'll still get essential messages about orders you've placed.

Cookies

We use three kinds: strictly necessary and functional (cart, session, region and currency, bot protection), analytics (basic first-party traffic measurement), and advertising (the Meta Pixel — see Section 1 to opt out). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though the cart may stop working if you do.

Your pet's photos

If you sent us a photo for a personalized piece, we delete it once your order is complete and the return window has closed. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time and we will.

Your account

You can update your details any time by signing in, or ask us to close your account and delete your data.

4.Make a Privacy Request

To access, correct, delete, or get a copy of your personal information — or to ask us to stop or limit how we use it — email help@pawinjoy.com.

To help us find you quickly, please include:

• The email address you used to order.
• Your order number, if you have one.
• What you'd like us to do — access, correct, delete, opt out, or stop using your data.

We'll confirm we've received your request, may ask a question or two to verify it's really you, and will respond within 30 days. It's free, and we will never treat you differently for asking.

5.Where You Live

United States

Depending on your state — California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and others — you can ask what we collect, get a copy, delete it, correct it, opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, and limit how sensitive information is used. We don't sell for money, but our advertising counts as "sharing" — see Section 1 to opt out.

United Kingdom

Under the UK GDPR you can access, correct, erase, restrict, object — including objecting to processing for direct marketing, which covers our advertising cookies — request portability, and withdraw consent. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Canada

Under PIPEDA you can access and correct your information and withdraw consent. You can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.

Australia

Under the Australian Privacy Principles you can request access to and correction of your information. You can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
