1.Information We Collect

• Order information: your name, billing and shipping address, email, phone number, and payment information (processed by PayPal and Airwallex — we do not store full card numbers).
• Personalization information: your pet's name for engraved tags, embroidered items and name plaques, and photos of your pet for hand-painted portrait pieces. You send these to us by email after you order.
• Device and usage information: your IP address, device and browser type, and how you use the Site — pages viewed, items added to cart, and orders placed. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta Pixel. See Sections 4 and 5.

2.How We Use Your Information

• Fulfil your order, process payment, arrange delivery, and send confirmations and tracking.
• Make your personalized items — see Section 3 for exactly how we handle those details.
• Answer your questions and handle returns, exchanges, and replacements.
• Send marketing emails, with your consent.
• Screen for fraud or risk and comply with our legal obligations.
• Measure and improve the Site.
• Run and measure our advertising, and show you relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram — including ads for products you have viewed on the Site.

3.Personalized & Made-to-Order Items

Several of our pieces are made individually for your pet — engraved ID tags and name plaques, embroidered bandanas and collars, and hand-painted portrait necklaces. Here is exactly what happens to what you send us.

What we ask for

Only your pet's name and, for portrait pieces, a photo of your pet. We do not engrave phone numbers, addresses, or any of your own contact details on our products, so please don't send them for engraving.

How you send it

After you place your order, you email these details to help@pawinjoy.com. Because that's ordinary email rather than an encrypted form, please send only what's needed to make your piece.

Who sees it

We pass our manufacturing partner only what's needed to make your item — your pet's name, or the photo. They never receive your order number, your address, your email, or your payment details.

What we never do

We never use your pet's photo or name in advertising, on social media, or on our website without asking you first and getting your agreement.

How long we keep it

Photos are deleted once your order is complete and the return window has closed — you can ask us to delete them sooner at any time. The name we engraved stays in your order record so we can remake your piece exactly if it's ever lost or damaged.

4.Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies in three ways:

• Strictly necessary and functional: keeping your cart and session working, remembering preferences such as region and currency, and protecting the Site against bots. These are always on — the Site cannot work without them.
• Analytics: basic first-party traffic measurement, so we can see which pages and products people find useful.
• Advertising: we run the Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API on this Site. These send Meta Platforms, Inc. information about your activity — pages viewed, items added to cart, and purchases — so we can measure how our ads perform and show you relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram. Section 5 sets out exactly what is shared.

How to control this

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features — the cart in particular — may then stop working. You can control the ads Meta shows you at facebook.com/adpreferences. And you can opt out of our sharing for advertising at any time using the Your Privacy Choices link in our footer.

Meta is currently our only advertising partner. If we add others, we will update this policy.

5.How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only in the ways described here.

Our service providers may use your information only to perform services for us, not for their own purposes. Meta is the exception: under its own terms, Meta may also use the data it receives for its own advertising and measurement purposes.

A note for US residents

Our use of the Meta Pixel is treated as "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising under laws such as the California CCPA/CPRA. It is not a sale for money, but you have the right to opt out — see Section 7.1.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect our rights, our customers, or the Site.

6.Marketing Emails

If you opt in — for example through our welcome offer — we may send you marketing emails. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by contacting help@pawinjoy.com, and we'll action it within 10 business days. We currently do not send marketing SMS or WhatsApp messages. We will still send essential messages about orders you've placed.

7.Your Privacy Rights

We honour the rights below based on where you live. To exercise any right, email help@pawinjoy.com. We will verify your request, respond within 30 days, and will not treat you differently for asking.

7.1 United States residents

Depending on your state (including CA, VA, CO, CT, UT and others), you may: know what we collect; access a copy; delete; correct; opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising; and limit use of sensitive personal information.

We do not sell your personal information for money. However, our use of the Meta Pixel for advertising counts as "sharing" under these laws. To opt out of this sharing, use the Your Privacy Choices link in our footer, or email help@pawinjoy.com. We will action it within 15 business days.

7.2 United Kingdom residents (UK GDPR)

You may: access your data; correct it; request erasure; restrict or object to processing — including objecting to processing for direct marketing, which includes our advertising cookies; request portability; and withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

7.3 Canada residents (PIPEDA)

You may access and correct your personal information and withdraw consent, subject to legal or contractual limits. You may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC) at priv.gc.ca.

7.4 Australia residents (Privacy Act / APPs)

You may request access to and correction of your personal information. If you have a concern about how we handle your data, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

8.Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9.Changes & Contact

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date reflects the latest version.
